नेपालमा युवा कलाकारहरूको सिर्जनात्मक क्षमता, प्रयोगशीलता र व्यावसायिक विकासलाई प्रोत्साहन गर्न नेपाल ललितकला प्रज्ञा–प्रतिष्ठानबाट विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरू सञ्चालन हुँदै आएका छन् । युवा कलाकारहरूलाई आफ्नो सिर्जनात्मक अभ्यासमा केन्द्रित हुन आवश्यक कार्यस्थल, प्राविधिक सहयोग, कला सामग्री तथा आफ्ना सिर्जनाहरू सार्वजनिक गर्ने अवसर उपलब्ध गराउने उद्देश्यले मिति २०८३ मङ्सिरदेखि पुस महिनासम्म पहिलो चरण र माघदेखि फागुन महिनासम्म दोस्रो चरण गरी ‘नाफा स्टुडियो फेलोसिप२०८३’ सञ्चालन हुन गइरहेको छ । यस फेलोसिप कार्यक्रम विशेष गरी १८ वर्षमाथि र ३० वर्ष उमेर ननाघेका नेपाली युवा कलाकारहरूलाई लक्षित गरिएको छ । छनोट भएका कलाकारहरूलाई दुई महिनाको अवधिका लागि स्टुडियोमा काम गर्ने अवसर प्रदान गरिने छ । कार्यक्रम दुई चरणमा सञ्चालन हुने छ र प्रत्येक चरणमा तीन/तीन जना गरी जम्मा छ (६) जना कलाकार सहभागी हुने छन् । फेलोसिपको अन्त्यमा सहभागी कलाकारहरूको सिर्जनालाई समेटेर सामूहिक कला प्रदर्शनी आयोजना गरिने छ ।
मुख्य उद्देश्य:
–कार्यस्थलको उपलब्धता : युवा नेपाली कलाकारलाई सिर्जनात्मक अभ्यासका लागि आवश्यक स्टुडियो/कार्यस्थल उपलब्ध गराउने ।
–क्षमता विकास: युवा कलाकारको सिर्जनशीलता, प्रयोग र व्यावसायिक क्षमता विकासमा सहयोग गर्ने ।
–अनुभव आदानप्रदान : विभिन्न विधाका युवा कलाकारबिच अन्तरक्रिया तथा अनुभव आदानप्रदानको वातावरण निर्माण गर्ने ।
–पहिचान र अवसर : कलाकारलाई आफ्नो सिर्जना सार्वजनिक गर्ने तथा कला क्षेत्रमा पहिचान विस्तार गर्न अवसर प्रदान गर्ने ।
–संस्थागत प्रोत्साहन: युवा कलाकारको समकालीन कलाअभ्यासलाई संस्थागत रूपमा प्रोत्साहन गर्ने ।
कार्यक्रमको संरचना:
–कार्यक्रम अवधिः २ महिना प्रतिचरण
–कार्यक्रमका चरणः २ चरण (प्रत्येक चरणमा ३ जना कलाकार गरी जम्मा ६ जना कलाकार)
–छनोट विधिः खुला आवेदन
–छनोट समितिः २सदस्यीय स्वतन्त्र छनोट समिति
–अन्तिम कार्यक्रमः फेलोसिपको अन्त्यमा सामूहिक कला प्रदर्शनी तथा कलाकार प्रस्तुतीकरण (Artist Presentation)
सहभागीका लागि योग्यता:
–आवेदक नेपाली नागरिक हुनुपर्ने छ ।
–आवेदन दिने वर्ष (अर्थात् २०८३ साल) सम्ममा ३० वर्ष उमेर ननाघेको हुनुपर्ने छ ।
–कला क्षेत्रमा निरन्तर अभ्यास गरिरहेको वा आफ्नो सिर्जनात्मक अभ्यास विकास गरिरहेको हुनुपर्ने छ ।
समावेश हुने कला विधाहरू:
चित्रकला, मूर्तिकला, प्रिन्टमेकिङ, शिल्पकला, हस्तकला, परम्परागत कला, लोककला, हस्त तथा रैथाने कला, सेरामिक, मिक्स्ड मिडिया, प्रतिस्थापन कला (Installation Art)अन्य समसामयिक कला /Graffiti आदि ।
आवेदनका लागि आवश्यक कागजात:
–नेपाली नागरिकताको प्रमाणपत्रको प्रतिलिपि
–आफ्नो सिर्जनाका ५ देखि १० वटा (तस्बिरहरू/Portofolio)
–Artist Statement
–फेलोसिप अवधिमा गर्न चाहेको कामको कार्ययोजना Proposal Workplan)
–हालसालै खिचिएको फोटो (Artist Profile Picture)
–कलाकार बायोडाटा
छनोट भएका कलाकारलाई उपलब्ध गराइने सुविधा:
–दुई महिनाका लागि निःशुल्क काम गर्ने स्टुडियो/कार्यस्थल ।
–स्वीकृत सीमाभित्र कला सामग्री खर्चका लागि सहयोग ।
–आवश्यकतानुसार प्राविधिक सहयोग ।
–कलाकार प्रस्तुतीकरण (Artist Presentation) को अवसर ।
–सिर्जित कलाकृतिको सामूहिक प्रदर्शनी ।
–प्रतिष्ठानको सामाजिक सञ्जाल तथा सञ्चार माध्यमबाट प्रचार–प्रसार ।
सहभागी कलाकारको दायित्व तथा कर्तव्य:
–स्वीकृत कार्ययोजनाअनुसार तोकिएको अवधिमा नियमित रूपमा स्टुडियोमा उपस्थित भई सिर्जनात्मक काम गर्नुपर्ने ।
–स्टुडियोको समय, उपकरण, नियम र उपलब्ध सामग्रीको उचित संरक्षण गर्नुपर्ने ।
–Artist Presentation, सामूहिक प्रदर्शनी तथा छलफलमा अनिवार्य सहभागी हुनुपर्ने ।
–फेलोसिपको अन्तिम प्रदर्शनीमा आफ्नो सिर्जना प्रस्तुत गर्नुपर्ने र कार्यक्रमको दस्ताबेजीकरणमा सहयोग गर्नुपर्ने ।
–प्रतिष्ठानको हित प्रतिकूल हुने कुनै पनि कार्य गर्न नहुने ।

NAFA Studio Fellowship 2083
Background:
To encourage the creative potential, experimentation and professional development of young artists in Nepal, the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) has been conducting various programs. With the objective of providing young artists with a necessary workspace, technical support, art materials and opportunities to showcase their creations, the ‘NAFA Studio Fellowship 2083’ will be conducted in two phases: the first phase from Mangsir to Poush 2083, and the second phase from Magh to Falgun 2083. This fellowship specifically targets young Nepali artists aged 18-30 years. Selected artists will be provided with the opportunity to work in a studio for a duration of two months. The program will run in two phases, with three artists participating in each phase, making a total of six (6) artists. At the end of the fellowship, a group art exhibition featuring the works of the participating artists will be organized.
Main Objectives:
Workspace Availability: Provide young Nepali artists with a studio/workspace necessary for their creative practice.
Capacity Building: Support the development of creativity, experimentation, and professional skills of young artists.
Knowledge Exchange: Create an environment for interaction and experience sharing among young artists from various disciplines.
Recognition and Opportunities: Provide artists with opportunities to make their creations public and expand their recognition in the art sector.
Institutional Encouragement: Systematically encourage the contemporary art practices of young artists.
Program Structure, Duration and Participants:
-Program Duration: 2 months per phase
-Program Phases: 2 phases (3 artists per phase, total 6 artists)
-Selection Method: Open Call
-Selection Committee: Independent 2-member selection committee
-Final Program: Group art exhibition and Artist Presentation at the end of the fellowship.
Participant Eligibility:
– Applicants must be Nepali citizens.
– Must be aged 30 or younger by 2083 BS (Application Year).
– Must be continuously practicing in the art field or developing their creative practice.
Included Art Disciplines:
-Painting / Sculpture / Printmaking
-Craft / Handicraft / Traditional Art / Folk Art / Indigenous and Native Art / Craftwork / Ceramics / Mixed Media / Installation Art
-Other Contemporary Arts / Graffiti Art

Facilities Provided to Selected Artists:
-Free workspace/studio for two months
-Financial support for art materials within approved limits

Responsibilities and Duties of Participating Artists:
-Regularly attend the studio and conduct creative work within the specified period according to the approved work plan.
-Properly maintain studio time, equipment, rules, and available materials.
-Mandatory participation in Artist Presentations, group exhibitions, and discussions.
-Present personal creations in the final exhibition of the fellowship and assist with program documentation.
– To uphold the dignity and integrity of the Academy at all times.
