Nepal Academy of Fine Arts has published a number of books on western art, Nepali art, Nepali painting, Nepali sculpture, Nepali handicrafts and folk arts. The concerned departments have provided research fellowship for the writers. The art historians and critics study and research on their topic and prepare book. The academy publishes these books. The Academy is also publishing journals and magazines on art. One of the important objectives of the Academy is to disseminate the innovative and new information about art to the artists and viewers. The publications of the Academy have been supporting for this. The published works have also documented the history of Nepali art and artists.
